Our Brunty Farms beef are rotated weekly during the season to a new section of pasture to chow down on the many grasses that they find. They always have access to fresh pasture and we feed them quality hay during the winter months. Since beef take anywhere from 18-24 months until processing time, there will always be a time when they are fed hay, especially during Ohio winters. Additionally we supplement a small portion of their diet, roughly 5-10%, in ground non-GMO corn. This gives the great benefits of being grass fed along with the desirable traits, like flavor, that corn has to offer. They are never confined to a barn or finished on on soley grass or grain. It makes for one heck of an awesome end product!
